Cutting Cords

Some electrosurgical units have separate output connectors for cutting and coagulation. In these models a separate cord is connected to the cutting connector (this cord is normally black - with black ends). A separate (green) cord is used for the coagulation connector. Please note that the output jacks on these units are color coded to ensure proper cord connections.

Many units have a single active output connector (black). The type of output is selected (cutting or coagulation). The output jacks on these units are black.

26-1015

The most popular cutting cord is the 26-1015 which is 8 ft. long and constructed of a supple lightweight material.

26-2965 This cord is 8 ft. long, uses heavy duty cordage, and has the same connectors as the 26-1015 cord.

26-2967 This cord is similar to the model 26-2965 except that it is 10 ft. long.

26-2035

This cutting cord is similar to the 26-1015 cord except that it has a male banana plug in place of the Cameron-Miller plug so that Cameron-Miller accessories can be used with other electrosurgical generators which have banana jack output connectors.

Coagulation Cords
As indicated above, coagulation cords have green connectors.

26-2015

The most popular coagulation cord is the 26-2015 which is 8 ft. long and constructed of a supple lightweight material.

26-1025

This cord is 8 ft. long, uses heavy duty cordage, and has the same connectors as the 26-2015 cord.

26-2025 This cord is similar to the model 26-1025 except that it is 10 ft. long.

26-2051

This is a special purpose cord. It is designed to use Cameron-Miller coagulation accessories (such as suction coagulators) with other brands of electrosurgical generators. The male plug fits the active jack on many generators (such as "Bovie" and Valleylab). The female end of this cord fits most Cameron-Miller handles and accessories.

26-2017

This coagulation cord is similar to the 26-2015 cord except that it has a male banana plug in place of the Cameron-Miller plug so that Cameron-Miller accessories can be used with other electrosurgical generators which have banana jack output connectors.

The family of cords which are used exclusively with our bipolar forceps are shown in Forceps.
Spark Gap (Desiccation & Fulguration) Cords
All spark gap cords are made with heavy duty cordage due to the higher voltages involved.

26-1020

This cord is 8 ft. long, with yellow connectors, made with heavy duty cordage.

26-2020

This cord is similar to the model 26-1020 except that it is 10 ft. long.

Patient Return Cords
All patient return cords are red (or have red connectors).

26-2992

This is a red lightweight cord 8 ft. long. It has a recessed safety connector which plugs into our electrosurgical units (except models 80-1983, 26-2500, and 26-1290) made since 2000. It connects to patient return devices 26-0991, 26-1391, and 26-1491.

26-0992

This is a red lightweight cord 8 ft. long. It is similar to the 26-2992 cord except that the male connector fits our electrosurgical units made before 2000.

80-8008

This is a red lightweight cord 8 ft. long. It is similar to the 26-2992 cord except that the male connector is a “banana” type plug which fit special purpose electrosurgical units which utilize this type of connector.

26-1992

This cord is 8 ft. long, uses heavy duty cordage, and has multiple conductors for use with the patient audio alert as provided on the following Cameron-Miller electrosurgical units: 80-1983,26-2500, and 26-1290.
